For international students, Australia is the third most popular destination to study behind the US and UK. This is because of the diverse culture, high quality education and friendly people.
Australia has a temperature climate where summer is from December to February, autumn from March to May, winter from June to August and spring from September to November. Apart from the sunshine and culture, the country is one of the top-rated destinations in the world.
Annual tuition fee varies depending on the university or college. This can be from AU$ 16000 – AU$ 40000.
The average international student spends about $320 per week on housing and essentials and entertainment.
Accomodiation will not be a problem for international students as there are many options to choose from such as private accommodation or halls of residence. Students are given the chance to mingle with one another.

With a student visa you can work up to 40 hours in a fortnight and full time during holidays. Holding a casual job isn’t expected to cover tuition fees or living cost.
IELTS - a compulsory exam required of students. For UG student minimum score is 6.0/9. for PG students 6.5/9.
TOEFL-Test of English as a foreign language is a standardised test to measure your English language ability if you want to enrol in a English – speaking university.
PTE Academic-The Pearson Test of English Academic. This is a computer based English language test aimed at those who do not speak English but want to study abroad.
All international students can apply for the student visa online. An immigration risk assessment level is no longer assigned to students. You need a confirmation of enrolement (COE) before applying for a Visa. Alternatively you need a letter confirming you have been accepted into the course (Letter of Offer) under the Commonwealth Register of Institutions of Courses.

The Australian DIBP grants student visas. Once accepting the course offer, the student pays the first semester tuition fees, after which the student receives the COE.
